Inspiring Community Evening!

On the Thursday before Summer half term, we held our annual Community Evening. One of the best events in the SNS calendar - an evening celebrating the amazing cultural diversity of Stokey.

With dishes made by our wonderful staff and parents/carers, our attendees had the opportunity to experiences flavours from around the world. It was packed with hungry guests until all the food was gone!

We also had incredible activities that promote diversity, cultural awareness and inclusivity through cultural experiences such as capoeira, a drum circle, henna tattooing, a 360 photo booth, a rowing leader board, a languages room, a Karagoz and Hacivat demonstration, a smoothie bike and much more activities hosted from different members of our community and external organisations that came together for this really special event. The sound of the drums and the joy did not stop until the end of the evening.

We also had amazing music, dance and poetry performances by our students that kept the show going until the very end making everyone feel very proud to this incredibly diverse and creative community.
