Stoke Newington School Celebrates Sixth Form Results
An outstanding 46% of A Level students at Stoke Newington School achieved at least one A or A grade*
We are delighted to share that our comprehensive and inclusive Year 13 cohort achieved an impressive 97% pass rate, with 31% of entries awarded A or A grades*. As one of the larger sixth form cohorts in the area, these outcomes are particularly impressive.
An outstanding 46% of A Level students at Stoke Newington School achieved at least one A or A grade* this year. Overall, 73% received at least one A, A or B grade*, while 85% achieved A to C grades* in their examinations.
Students secured A* and A grades across a wide range of subjects, including Biology, Chemistry, Computing, English Literature, Film Studies, French, Further Mathematics, Geography, History, Mathematics, Music, Physical Education, Physics, Politics, Psychology, Sociology, Spanish, and the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).
The arts are a vital part of life at Stoke Newington School. Through a rich curriculum and a broad range of enrichment opportunities, students are encouraged to develop their artistic talents, creative confidence and individual voice. Whether through exhibitions, performances, design projects or collaborative creative work, students are given numerous opportunities to showcase their talents and achievements.
Our creative subjects continue to thrive, with 73% of Textile Design grades awarded at A or A* and 68% of Art grades achieving A or A*. More than half of all students studying Photography, Product Design and Graphic Communication also achieved A* or A grades.
Students will now go on to study a diverse range of courses, including Art, Business Studies, Drama, Engineering, History, Politics, Dentistry and Physics.
