We are very happy to be exhibiting The Missing Chapter: Black Chronicles donated to us by Autograph ABP.

The exhibition explores Black presences in 19th and early 20th century Britain, through the prism of studio portraiture and was curated by Renée Mussai and Mark Sealy.

We are presenting this exhibition as part of this year's Black History Month and will be moving the exhibition to a permanent display in the school after October. Unfortunately, we are unable to host visitors at the moment but you can learn more about The Missing Chapter project here. The exhibition is dedicated to Professor Stuart Hall, whose words you can read in the below image. You can learn more about him and Iniva (Institute of International Visual Arts) - the organistion he founded to highlight and support British visual artists of African and Asian descent - here.
